Hyundai Alcazar 7 seater SUV | AUTO MOTIVE
The launch of the 7 seater Tata Safari at a very compelling price has renewed interest in owning a capable 7 seater SUV for the city. In response, Hyundai is now entering into the 7 seater segment with the Creta-based Hyundai Alcazar.
However, rather than just elongate the Hundai Creta and launch a 7 seater SUV, Hyundai has redesigned the platform significantly. The Hyundai Alcazar features the same driveability as the Creta while being longer and comfortably accommodating a third row.

At first glance, the Hyundai Alcazar appears to just be an elongated Creta. A deeper look reveals the Alcazar is very much its own SUV. The Hyundai Alcazar features a longer 2760 mm wheelbase and large 18-inch alloy wheels.

The most important attraction for the Hyundai Alcatraz is on the inside.
As Hyundai’s first 7 seater SUV in India, the Hyundai Alcatraz will be offered as a 6 or 7 seater car. The second row will feature captain’s seats in the 6 seater variant while the 7 seater variant will feature the standard bench seats.
As is par for the course for Hyundai, the interiors will carry forward the premium quality seen in the Hyundai Creta. A dual tone interior will set the ambience for the Alcazar. This is paired with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment display and a panoramic roof to elevate the passenger experience in the Hyundai Alcazar.
Hyundai Alcazar Features
- 6 seater with Captain’s seats or 7 seater with bench seats
- Panoramic sunroof
- 10-inch touchscreen infotainment display
